Banana Muffins

5 large ripe bananas, mashed
1 egg
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon soda
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
¼ cup butter or margarine, softened
1 cup pecans or walnuts, chopped
1 ½ cups flour


Preheat oven to 375.   Mix all ingredients except flour.   Gradually add flour, stirring lightly.   Pour into greased muffin tins and bake 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
